Hint:
Human rights are the basic rights and freedoms that belong to every person in the world, from birth until death. Terrorism is, in the broadest sense, the use of intentional violence for political or religious purposes.

Complete solution:
1. Place of India in the human rights establishment:
- The Indian constitution has granted its people fundamental rights such as the right to equality, the right to democracy, etc.
- The government also prioritises the defence of poorer groups such as women and minorities.
- In 1993, via the Human Rights Security Act, the National and State Human Rights Commission was set up. It looks into cases of violations of human rights.

2. Terrorism has the following effects: :
- As war zones are typically civil areas, this induces the loss of many innocent lives.
- A country's external and internal stability is at risk due to the danger of attacks.
- Terrorist attacks in areas such as Syria have triggered large numbers of refugees from the region.

Remedies to control terrorism are :
- The most significant step in fighting terrorism is foreign government cooperation.
- The deprivation of any community must be prevented because it is always the resentment that leads to terrorism and rebellion.
- As it is the source of influence for terrorist groups, black advertising, human trafficking and illegal production must be stopped.

Note:
The NHRC is responsible for the defence and promotion of human rights by the National Human Rights Commission of India, described by the Act as "Rights relating to the life, liberty, equality and dignity of the individual guaranteed by the Constitution or embodied in the International Covenants and enforceable in India by the courts."
