A very happy new year to you and your family. I hope you and everyone else in your family is doing well. All of our friends really missed you at our new year celebration. We went out for dinner on the 31st night and thereafter joined the crowd on the roads for the new year countdown. After that, all our friends came back to my home. I had arranged a night party setup at my terrace. My mum had cooked delicious snacks for all of us to enjoy at night. It was an amazing night. We danced to our favourite music and everyone safely reached back to their homes till morning.

I really wished you were with me on new year’s eve like always. There were crackers in the sky and some houses had lit diyas. The night life of the city has changed drastically. You will love it when you return. Hope you return soon. Write back to me about your celebrations and convey my best wishes to aunty and uncle. I will wait for your letter.
