Subject : Public participation is ‘Cleanliness Drive'
Respected Sir,
Our area, ‘Alambagh' is mostly filled with dirty and untidy state of things. The roads were dam, the streets untidy. Garbage bins are often overflowing and many people seem to lack the basic civic sense. They continue to litter the place, despite being reminded of their civic responsibilities, through banners and posters. No one understands the basic need of cleanliness, everyone wants their homes to be tide and clean but they don’t get that this Earth is also our home, in fact, our only home.
It is the duty of us, to take up the issue of cleanliness in a practical way. So a ‘Cleanliness Drive' is being organized by the ‘Earth society’ on 10th of August, 2020 from 10:00 am onwards. All participants will meet at the ‘Canara Bank', Alambagh. “Cleanliness is the need of the society” is our motto. We make this appeal to the public, all are welcome to participate in this drive to make this a huge success.
Thanking you,
Yours faithfully,
Aashita Dhingra.
Note: While writing a formal letter, it’s important to be accurate and confident in your writing.
