Hint: In optics, an image is defined as the collection of focus points of light rays coming from an object. A real image is the collection of focus points actually made by converging rays while a virtual image is the extension of diverging rays.

A plane mirror is a mirror which has one surface as a reflective surface and others have a polished surface. It is polished basically with silver or black. On the reflective surface all the laws of reflection take place; it is due to the law of reflection. In which the incident ray parallel ray and normal should be in a plane.
Incident angle and reflected angle should always be the same.
Plane mirrors and convex mirrors only produce virtual images. Only a concave mirror is capable of producing a real image and this only occurs if the object is located a distance greater than a focal length from the mirror's surface.

Note:
A concave mirror can form real as well as virtual images depending on the position of the object. While a convex mirror always forms a virtual image for all positions of the object.
