Freezing is when liquid is frozen in solid. Sunlight supplies heat, liquid molecules absorb heat and are converted to gaseous state.

When water is heated, water molecules in liquid state absorb heat energy and water is converted into water vapors.
Due to sunlight, water of oceans and sea evaporates to form water vapors into air. As altitude increases, temperature decreases, water vapour condenses into water droplets which eventually are visible as clouds. This is a water cycle and it is an example of condensation.
When camphor is heated in its solid state, it is directly converted into gaseous state without passing liquid state. This is an example of sublimation.
At zero degree Celsius, water is frozen into its solid state as ice. This process is called freezing.
In wet clothes, water is present in liquid state. In presence of sunlight water molecules absorb heat energy and are converted to water vapors and disappear.
