Hint: In the parliament, the joint sitting usually comes under Article 108. In the Parliament there is the Upper and Lower House, in that Lower house represents the Lok sabha. Rajya Sabha is also called the Upper House of the Parliament; here the members of the Rajya Sabha are elected indirectly.

Complete answer:
A bi-cameral Legislature consists of two houses-Legislative Council (Upper House) and Legislative Assembly (Lower House). The union Legislature represents the Parliament and the members in it.
It consists of the President and the two Houses namely the Lok Sabha (House of the People) and the Rajya Sabha (Council of States). Lok Sabha consists of the member who is directly elected by the people based on Universal Adult Suffrage.
In the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha, the joint sitting session is presided by the Lok Sabha’s speaker, if the Lok Sabha speaker was absent, then it is presided by the Deputy Speaker of Lok Sabha, if there was an absence of Deputy Speaker of Lok Sabha, it is presided by Deputy Chairman of Rajya Sabha. The Deputy Chairman of Rajya Sabha never fails to preside at any cost.

Note: If one of the houses in the parliament ignores the bill or if one of the houses does not agree to the amendments, then the joint session can be summoned. To pass a bill, the Lok Sabha and the Rajya Sabha, these two houses must approve the bill. Only after passing the bill by both houses in the parliament, the president can give his assent.
