Step by step by solution – Khanqahs is a public place. It is also called Khaneka or ribat. In a specific way. It is a building constructed for the gathering or meeting of the Sufi brotherhood. Its purpose includes serving saliks also called Sufi travelers, murids, and Talibs also called Islamic students. These public places called “ Khanqahs” are usually found near madrasa called Islamic school, mosque, turns also called tomb of notables, and dargahs also called shrines of Sufi saints. Khanqahs are known by a different name in different parts of the world. In North Africa, it is called “ Zawiyah'', and in Turkey and Iran, it is called “ Tekije''. The first Khanqah in India is located in Maner Sharif. Maner Sharif is located in the Indian state of Bihar. It is a satellite town in the Patna Metropolitan Region. This place is famous for its sweets called “ Motichoor laddu”.

Additional Information – The first khanqah that was established is around 800 years old. Various types of rituals and prayers are performed in these Khanqahs. The movements led by Sufis are banned in many places such as Turkey, Iran, and Saudi Arabia.

Note – Some of the important and notable Khanqah include “ Darbar-e-Sadria'' located in Pakistan, “Khanqah-e-moula” located in SriNagar, Teqe of fresher located in Albania. It is a historical site.
