Hint: All the by products and the sewage released from the industries are the main factors which affect the environment. And these pollutants are spread in every part of the atmosphere harmful gases released from industries decrease the quality of air and the by-products released on the soil or in the water resource affect them.

Complete answer:
The main three types of pollution that are air, water and soil are caused by these industries.
i) Air Pollution: Industrial factories have played a big part in the amount of air Pollution. The toxic gases that factories release into the air mix with air and it becomes the major cause for global warming throughout the world. Air pollution has increased risk of developing chronic respiratory disease, lung cancer, heart disease and many other illnesses, diseases and conditions inside us.Air pollution also has affected our wildlife and again could lead to species of plants and animals one day being made extinct.

ii) Water pollution: The by-products released by industries into the water stream is contaminating the water resource and this is becoming the reason for extinction in the species in marine life.

iii) Soil pollution: Harmful substances released in the ground level or in the soil have decreased fertility of soil and dissolve the toxic material in soil which leads to the death of animals which are feeding groundly on soil for their food.

Note: Many health surveys made by different health organisations have stated that the life existing near the industries either of human or animal is adversely affected compared to the life existing far from the industries.
