We know that butter milk is constituted with two major components that is water and fat. We know that churning is a process of separation. So, when we churn the buttermilk in other words when we stir the buttermilk the solid part or the fat part accumulates and rises up and it is separated from the liquid component of the buttermilk. It is possible due to the action of centrifugal force which is produced due to the churning. This process of separation is also known as centrifugation. The fat part which is collected is the butter and the churned buttermilk is left. Both are very good dairy products and they are very healthy.
