a) State the reasons that made Gandhi ji to go on the Dandi March.- Gandhi through his Dandi March tried to protest against the regressive policies of the British Government about the Salt Law as it was an essential food item which is used by every household of the same quality. He also made an example to the people of India to fight against colonialism and through non-violent means. This was the major reason for the Dandi March.
b)State briefly the program of the civil disobedience movement - The Civil Disobedience Movement aimed at complete refusal of cooperation to the British.Dandi march was ultimately changed into Civil Disobedience movement. It also aimed at refusal to pay taxes, boycotting government institutions , boycotting foreign clothes , boycotting liquor.
c) How did the civil disobedience movement differ from the non cooperation movement?- The Civil Disobedience Movement was aimed at breaking certain laws like the Salt Laws and to boycott British products Like clothes, institutions, food etc. The Non-cooperation movement was launched on 5th September, 1920 by Mahatma Gandhi with the aim of self-governance or Purna Swaraj and obtaining full independence.

Note: All these movements were significant in creating unrest among the British government officials and they were forced to comply with the Indian decisions.
