Mahatma Gandhi – Mahatma Gandhi is also Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi. Gandhi Ji was born on 2nd October 1869 at Porbandar and died in January 1948 in New Delhi and he was killed by Nathuram Godse’s gun shot. Gandhi Ji was an Indian Lawyer, Anti-colonial nationalist and Political ethicist by entire life. He worked for nonviolent resistance which led the successful campaign for Independence of India from British Rule. Gandhi led the challenges against the British-imposes salt tax with Dandi Salt March in 1930 and later he had also led the Quit India Movement in 1942.

Lala Lajpat Rai – He was an Indian Freedom Fighter and also known as Punjab Kesari. He was born on 28th January 1865 and died on 17th November 1928. He played a pivotal role in the National Movement. He was also associated with activities of Punjab National Bank (PNB) and Lakshmi Insurance Company in 1894.

In 1928, the British government set up the Simon Commission which was headed by Sir John Simon, but later this commission failed in their mission due to the Lala Lajpat Rai Protest against it.

Lal Bal Pal is known as triumvirate. (Lala Lajpat Rai belonged to Punjab, Bal Gangadhar Tilak belonged to Maharashtra and Bipin Chandra Pal belonged to Bengal). All three brought changes in the way of Indian Independence Movement. The Swadeshi Movement was the most successful movement.
