Hint: There are eight planets in our solar system. All the planets have sizes which are very distinct in number. The inner planets are comparatively smaller than the outer planets. Earth and Jupiter are two among them.
Complete answer:
Jupiter is the largest planet in the solar system and is called a ‘gas giant’. As per the evidence, the size and subsequent mass of Jupiter is very large as compared to the other planets and it is mainly composed of hydrogen and helium gas like the sun.
Earth is the fifth largest planet and is called a ‘Goldilocks Planet'. The earth has the right conditions for life to sustain. It is also called a ‘blue planet’ or a ‘water planet’ because 70 percent of its surface
is covered with water.
The table above shows that Jupiter is much larger than earth in terms of radius and area. Density is
the only quantitative measure which is more on earth as compared to its counterpart.
This proves that the size of Jupiter is massive as compared to Earth.
According to the researches and evidence, the scientists in National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) have found that around 1300 Earths could fit in the planet jupiter.
Note:Jupiter is the largest planet on the earth whereas the Earth is the fifth largest planet.Earth is an inner planet whereas Jupiter is an outer planet in the solar system. The size of Jupiter is around eleven times the size of the Earth.
