Hint: A circle is a geometrical shape that can be drawn using a centre point and consists of an angle. It consists of a centre that is used to draw the circle with the help of any measurement called radius. The radius is defined as the line that touches the two points, one is the centre point of the circle and another is any one of the points on the circle. A segment is a part of a circle that is divided using a line which touches any two points.

As we can see in the diagram, the point O is called as the centre of the circle, the line AB is the Diameter of the circle. We can define a diameter as the line that touches any two edge points of a circle that passes through the centre of the circle.
The line OE is the radius of the circle, it is defined as the line that touches the centre of the circle and ends on any point on the circle.
The line CD is called as the chord, which is defined as the line that touches any two points of the circle without passing through the centre of the circle.
The line CD divides the circle into two parts, we can say that the portion that is shaded is called as the segment or the area that is divided by the line CD is called as the segment.
Therefore, we drew the circle and marked the segment.

Note: We have to be sure about the chord and the diameter, we should be able to differentiate both the terms. The chord and the diameter both are lines and touches the two ends of a circle but it should be kept in mind that the diameter will pass through the centre of the circle whereas the chord will not.
