Now in the next step we will look for the reaction between hydrochloric acid and silver nitrate.
So these both reacting species undergo displacement reactions.
And the equation for this reaction will be:
$ AgN{O_3}(aq) + HCl(aq) \to AgCl(s) + HN{O_3} $
