Hint: To solve this question we have to know about the center of curvature. We know that, The reflecting surface of a round mirror shapes a piece of a circle. This point is known as the center of curvature of the bend of the spherical mirror.
Complete answer:
According to the question we can say that as the object is moved from infinity towards the pole of a concave mirror, the image formed starts shifting from the focus of the mirror towards infinity. We know that, when the object is at infinity, the image is formed at the focus or in the focal plane. When the object is shifted, the image is formed between the focus and center of curvature, Then, the center of curvature and then beyond the center of curvature. After that we know, it formed at infinity and lastly and finally the image is formed behind the mirror.
Note:We can get confused between concave and convex mirrors. We know that, Focus of shape can likewise be characterized as the point in the focal point of the circle from which the mirror was cut. It is spoken of by the letter C. Note that the center of curvature lies outside the mirror's reflecting surface. The center of curvature of the bend of a sunken mirror or a concave mirror lies before it. Nonetheless, it lies behind the mirror in the event of a convex mirror.
