Democracy is considered as the best form of government. There are some points regarding democracy as the best government:
A. Democracy is an accountable form of governance. The member of parliament or the member of the legislative assembly or any member who is elected by a general election is responsible towards the public.
B. Democracy improves the quality of governance and decision making as it makes any decision after consultation and discussion.
C. Democracy provides the method to deal with conflicts as differences are bound to occur.
D. Democracy ensures and enhances the dignity of citizens as it is based on the principle of political equality. The democratic government gives the right to cast vote to each and every citizen of the country who is 18 years old or above that.
E. Democracy allows us to change our representative every 5 years.
However, there’s no form of a government that can please all people, and only with democracy, our satisfaction can be assured. Hence, democracy is theoretically the best form of government.
