Rajasthan on the other hand is a state in the northwestern part of India and it covers an area of about 342.239 sq. kilometers or 10.4% of the total geographical area in India. Rajasthan is the largest state in India by area wise and the seventh-largest by population. It is home to my historical monuments, sites and also to the world’s 9th largest subtropical desert which is the Thar Desert. Rajasthan has a history of having a site in the Indus Valley Civilization, the Kalibangan (world’s earliest attested ploughed field), and also saw the rise of many Rajput rulers. Therefore the state is also known as ``The Land of Rajputs”.
