Hint:The color blindness is the disease that is transmitted from the one generation to the other generation via the genetic material. An organism may be either affected individual or it can be a carrier of the color-blind gene to pass to the next produced offspring.
Complete answer:
The color blindness is the recessive disorder that occurs in the autosomal gene. It is given that the man’s father is affected by the color blindness and hence the man is normal with the XY chromosome in him. He got married to the woman, she is also normal with the XX chromosomes but her mother was color blind but her father is normal. Hence it is known that the women are the carrier of the color-blind gene.
Hence the above image shows that the produced sons and the daughters are 50% male and the 50% female individuals with the color blindness recessive gene.
Thus, the correct answer is option (B).
Note:This color blindness is mainly due to the defect in the cone cells that provide vision during the day time. It is of three types as total color blindness, red and green color blindness and the blue yellow color blindness. If there is no defect in cones, it is normal vision called trichromacy.
