Step 1- Students need to visit the official website of the Science Olympiad Foundation (SOF) to check their level 1 IEO exam result.

Step 2- Click on the option "IEO SOF result". A new page will open on the screen.

Step 3- From the select list of exams, choose IEO. And enter the student's roll number in the upcoming field.

Step 4- Solve and fill the captcha.

Step 5- To check out the IEO exam result, click on the " view result" option.

Step 6- Now, students can see the SOF IEO result on the screen.

3. What is the cutoff for the SOF IEO exam?

Ans: Every year SOF releases overall and section-wise cutoff marks along with the result of the IEO level 1 exam. For every class, the cutoff marks are announced separately. The top 5% of students who score IEO cutoff marks are selected to appear for the level 2 exam. If more than one student secures total IEO cutoff marks, then the rank is declared on the marks obtained in the different sections to select students for the next round. The section-wise scores are considered in the order of Achievers section, written and spoken expression section, word structure and knowledge section and reading section.

4. What is the SPR of the IEO result? 

Ans: The term SPR stands for Students Performance Report. This report showcases the performance of a student in the different sections of the question paper. The SPR report consists of 6 sections.

1. Section 1- Provides student's rank and marks.

2. Section 2- Provides the previous year-wise performance of the student.

3. Section 3- Gives correct answers and students' answers to the questions asked in the IEO exam. Also, provides performance of students' answers vs other students' performance at the zonal and international level.

4. Section 4- Provides analysis of students' scores at city, class, zone, region level.

5. Section 5- Gives analysis of average marks obtained at different levels.

6. Section 6- Gives section-wise analysis of students.

5. What is the selection criteria for the IEO level 2 exam?

Ans: There are 3 criteria for the selection of the IEO level 2 exam.

Criteria 1- Students securing the top 5% rank from each class. Here, marks obtained in different sections are taken into account.

Criteria 2- Top 25 rank achievers from each class in each zone.

Criteria 3- Class topper who obtains 50% marks from each participating school. In the case of the section-wise registration, candidates scoring the highest marks are selected for the next level irrespective of the marks obtained in different sections. A gold medal winner doesn't need to be eligible for the level 2 IEO exam.
