As we read above about the importance of first aid. We will now look at the different types of first aid. There are three types of first aid. They are:

  • Emergency First Aid: When an individual meets life-threatening injuries, then in that condition this first aid is used. Breathing emergencies are mostly taken care of in this first aid.

  • Standard First Aid: This is the most common type of first aid. Mainly focuses on wound care and head injuries. 

  • Child Care First Aid: This first aid is provided by daycare providers. Child illness and safety are concerned in this type of first aid.
