CBSE Class 4 EVS Worksheets for Chapter 14

CBSE, the abbreviated form of the Central Board of Secondary Education, is a board of education based on the national level of the country and is looked after by the Government of India. 1929 was the establishment year of CBSE, it was a bigger step to be taken at that time of the period to start a revolution concerning education. 

Though in today's time, there are a lump total of around 26,054 schools situated in India which are CBSE affiliated and 240 schools on foreign premises. The Chairman of CBSE, Manoj Ahuja IAS, handles the governing body whose parent organisation is the Ministry of Education with its active legal status. The amendment of the constitution of the board was in 1952 which provided its present name, the Central Board of Secondary Education. Later its services were made available for the students and teachers and to various educational institutes in the whole wide country here. In the past year 1929, the Indian Government came up with a joint board namely the board of the high school and intermediate education. Concerning the first educational board to come into existence, it was the Uttar Pradesh board that initiated the revolution under the jurisdiction of Central India, Gwalior and Rajputana.

If we are talking about the affiliations provided by the Central Board of Secondary Education, it affiliates almost all Kendriya Vidyalayas, Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas and some private schools as well. A total of 1,138 Kendriya Vidyalayas and 3,011 Government schools are on the list being considered. 

The promotion criteria for the secondary and senior secondary level included a total of 33% in both the practical and theory components in CBSE. Later there was an extension by the board for the relief of students in the form of a compartment exam. If and only if one is unable to manage to take the percentage up to the mark of 33%, he/she can opt for a compartment exam which happens to be in July, where they can rewrite the subject again. For those who are again unable to pass the compartment, they must rewrite all the papers in the coming year. The same goes for class 12th.
