Top Revision Tip For NEET 2021 Subject Wise

As you already know, the NEET syllabus is vast and the best trick is to study the syllabus based on the units from subjects that bear maximum marks.

Here are quick tips about how to revise NEET syllabus:

1. NEET Physics Revision

For revision, do not repeatedly go through the study material and activity books as this will only create confusion and unnecessary pressure. Revise from a formula notebook, created by you. Having the important points and formulas of each chapter handy is the best way to revise Physics. If you do not have your own notes, then just go through the highlighted points and formulas in your notes. Then for one last time, solve those questions which you weren’t able to solve in one go earlier. While solving problems always mark them according to their difficulty level & number of trials you made to solve them. This is done so that next time you solve only those problems which you weren’t able to do previously.

2. NEET Chemistry Revision

Chemistry (particularly class 11) is full of formulas and equations. Thus early morning makes the best time to learn the formulas and try solving the questions. The best time to revise 11th syllabus for NEET is early morning because we typically tend to retain the most important and maximum information that time due to calmness in mind.

Just go through important topics/points and formulas. Create some flashcards on your own for organic and inorganic reactions. Do not practice from multiple sources and avoid skipping past year papers. For problem-solving questions, follow the same tips as in Physics.

3. NEET Biology Revision

Just go through highlighted points and important topics from your notes/NCERT/coaching modules. First, take a look at the whole chapter in just 5 minutes. Then go deeper in theories, concepts and diagrams. Examples for the animal kingdom, animal tissue, plant kingdoms, plant anatomy, and plant morphology, to be read from NCERT.

You can Practice pedigree analysis to have quick inferences and revise the different genetic combinations for dihybrid crosses. In genetics, the process of central dogma must be revised rigorously. Exercise from NCERT based questions as much as you can. Try to explain the concepts, tables and diagrams to yourself; you’ll recall the topic much better.

The primary target of the aspirant should be to score 500+ marks in minimum possible time. Next is to optimize the score to the level of 580 to 620 which depends upon the determination while preparing for the exam.

However, in Biology, it is practically possible by way of heading recall method. This method will act as a medium to enhance your memory and the whole syllabus will appear like a reel when you write your paper. Tip to follow the method:-

  • Open any chapter of your NCERT book, for e.g. chapter no. 2

  • Take a blank paper and note down the first heading of the chapter (chapter 2, heading 2.1).

  • Read the content properly under every heading. Follow this procedure for the whole chapter.

  • Note that you do not have to learn the chapters instead understand what’s under the heading.

3. Short Note Preparing Method
