Candidates preparing for the NEET exam should know the exam pattern which helps them to prepare better for the examination. NEET examination is a pen-paper-based test with a time duration of 3 hours. A total of 180 questions are asked in the exam from the Science subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (Botany & Zoology). How to Prepare for NEET 2021?

  • Formulate a Time Table - The first is to formulate a time table and strictly follow it while preparing for the exam. It is an important document that states your plan of action for your upcoming exam.

  • Set Targets -  Set a target and aim to achieve those targets on a daily basis. Ensure to study for a minimum of 10-12 hours a day. Most Importantly, set a realistic goal so that you don't lose your confidence before the exam.

  • Get acquainted with the NEET Exam Pattern and Syllabus - NEET ie an objective type pen paper-based test. Students who took responsibility to clear the exam on their own should be well aware of the syllabus, weightage of important topics, marking scheme, and other important concepts. Taking print for the same is always recommended.

  • Know your books -  One should be aware of the books to use for clearing the exam. NCERT books should be given preference. Upon the completion of the NCERT books thoroughly, you can refer to other reference books which are nothing but the extension of NCERT, as the questions are tricky and difficult to understand.

  • Try to solve more and more MCQs - Assure to solve a minimum of 150-200 questions each day. Solve NEET previous year question papers. Refer to the reference books which include NEET exam 20 years past question papers.

  • Attempt mock tests frequently to analyze their performance, identify their strong and weak areas, work more on weaker areas to strengthening the important concepts

  • Ensure to prepare short and precise notebooks. It is important to prepare notes representing highlights, important labeling, mnemonic concepts to make the learning easier and interesting.

  • At last, students should practice more and question as practice makes the man perfect. Also, become proficient at solving MCQs in a minute. Tackling the MCQs question in the most effective way comes only with practice and revision.
