Guidelines to Follow on Exam Day of NEET-UG 2022

The NTA (National Testing Agency) has the  authority to issue NEET-UG 2022 review day guidelines. The NEET-UG 2022 exam will be conducted by the authorities from 2 PM to 5:20 PM on 17th July.

Candidates may go through the basic guidelines of the NEET-UG exam day which they must be aware of before they appear for the exam.

Candidates are required to carry NEET UG admit card 2022, any one photo ID (PAN card / Voter ID / Driving License / Passport / Aadhaar card), certificate of registration issued by the Medical Council of India (MCI) or State Medical Council (SMC) according to the most primary examination day guidelines.

Foreign nationals appearing for the NEET UG 2022 exam must bring their passport and evidence that they are medical practitioners in their home country.

As specified in the NBE NEET-UG guidelines, the last entry to the exam hall will only be permitted until 3:00 PM.

After the authentication process, the name of the applicant will be checked to test against any potential impersonation.

Documents That Need to Be Carried at the Examination Centre in NEET-UG 2022

NEET-UG will be conducted for admission to postgraduate medical courses in government, private, deemed, and central institutes across India. Candidates can proceed through the documents below for verification purposes, which will be necessary.

  • A print of the admit card downloaded from the website of NTA with a passport size photograph (same as uploaded on the online application form pasted on it)

  • One colour photograph of size 4" X 6" having a white background should be pasted on the Proforma that came with the Admit Card. The invigilator in the Examination Hall will receive the proforma along with a postcard size photograph.

  • Aadhaar Card/PAN Card/Driving Licence/ Voter ID/ Passport/ Class 12 Admit Card with Photograph/ any other valid photo ID issued by the government (must be original and valid).

  • If you're claiming the PwBD category, you'll need a PwBD certificate from the Competent Authority.

  • The E-Aadhar held at the NEET UG 2022 exam centre must have a colourful printout of good quality.

  • Aspirants should notice that the name and details mentioned in the photo ID suit the details on the admit card of NEET-UG. If there are any variations, it is recommended that one carry relevant documents to prove the details change.

  • A recent photograph must be pasted on the NEET-UG admitting card 2022 under the specifications mentioned below.

  • Size should not be less than 35 X 45 mm

  • Should the claimant cover 75 per cent of his face and neck

  • The title must include the name and date of the candidate's birth

  • The background should be a white background only

  • Quality should be of at least 600 dpi resolution

Things/Items Not Allowed at the NEET UG Exam Centre

If any aspirant is seen carrying any of the following things at the NEET UG exam centres 2022, it will be considered unfair. Candidates must note that authorities will not make arrangements to retain the candidate's belongings. The items that will be excluded at the examination centres for NEET-UG 2022 are:

  • Any type of paper, such as pens, paper, writing pads, pen drives, erasers, etc.

  • Gadgets such as mobile phones, laptops, calculators, watches, Bluetooth, etc.

  • Ornaments like rings, earrings, chains, bangles, etc.

  • Other items like wallets, belts, goggles, etc.

NEET UG Exam Day Guidelines – Reporting Time

The length of NEET-UG 2022 will be three hours and twenty minutes. It will commence bright at 2 PM. As per the guidelines of the NEET-UG 2022 exam day, candidates will be advised to report at least 12 PM at the allotted exam centre.

Complete all necessary security checking procedures including digital image taking, left-thumb impression, and others. Candidates will keep this in mind until 1:30 p.m. No one will be allowed into the NEET UG exam hall, so they have to arrive at the exam centre as soon as possible.

The Verification Process on Exam Day

As noted above, the security personnel will carry out a candidate's document and biometric verification prior to the commencement of the NEET-UG 2022 entrance exam.
