NEET UG 2024: NTA Added New Exam Centres Abroad

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has expanded the list of examination centers to include international locations. As part of the registration process for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET-UG), which commenced on February 9, the NTA is inviting applications from candidates residing abroad.

Newly added exam center cities for NEET UG 2024 include Kuwait City, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Bangkok, Colombo, Doha, Kathmandu, Kuala Lumpur, Lagos, Manama, Muscat, Riyadh, Sharjah, and Singapore.


How Can You Change NEET UG 2024 International Centres? 

Applicants who have previously opted for centers within India and completed the fee payment without considering the option for international centers will be allowed to amend their center and country preferences during the NEET UG 2024 Application Correction phase. However, NTA has stated that they will need to cover the additional cost.


Candidates who are applying for the first time from foreign nations can directly select international centers from the drop-down menu while completing the application process.


Steps to Change NEET UG 2024 International Centres

To change NEET UG 2024 International Centers, follow these steps:


  1. Visit the official NEET UG 2024 website; neet.ntaonline.in

  2. Log in to your account using your credentials.

  3. Navigate to the application correction section.

  4. Look for the option to change the examination center.

  5. Applicants who have previously opted for centers within India can change their centres to newly added international centres by paying the additional cost.

  6. Those who already opted for international centres can select the desired international center from the available dropdown options.

  7. Save the changes made.

  8. Review the modifications to ensure accuracy.

  9. Pay any differential fee required for the change, if applicable.

  10. Submit the revised application.

  11. Verify the updated details once the changes are confirmed.


Additional Changes In NEET UG 2024

  • The application form, formerly accessible on neet.nta.nic.in, is now available on a new website, neet.ntaonline.in.

  • An increase in the application fee has been enforced across all candidate categories.

  • The National Medical Commission (NMC) introduced minor modifications to the NEET syllabus for the 2024 exams in 2023.

  • The revision in the NEET UG syllabus is aimed at aligning with changes in the NCERT syllabus post-Covid.
