The Syllabus of Class 8 Mathematics 2018-2022 Examination are as Follows According To The Weightage

Chapter Algebra of Class 8 has a weightage of  20 marks, chapter geometry has a weightage of 25 marks, Chapter Trigonometry has a weightage of 15 Marks and lastly, the Miscellaneous Topics have a weightage of 20 Marks.

The syllabus states that the Algebra part will include Quadratic Equations, Linear Equations in Two Variables, Simultaneous linear equations in two variables, Inequalities, and Algebraic expressions. The Geometry part will include topics like Triangles, Quadrilaterals, Circles, Coordinate geometry-Plane, Lines, and angles. Chapter Trigonometry includes the study of Sine Rule, Cosine Rule, and Tangent Rule along with Heights and Distances. Lastly, the syllabus includes a section on Miscellaneous topics which will include topics like Ratio and Proportion, Percentage, Average Price, etc.
