Part II- Geography of india consists of Location and Extent of Physical features (only through maps); Climate (Distribution of Temperature, Rainfall, winds of Summer and Winter and factors affecting the climate of the area, Monsoons and its mechanism, etc.); Soil Resources (Types of soils and their characteristics and Soil erosion); Natural Vegetation (Importance of forests, Types of vegetation, Forest conservation); Water Resources (Sources, Need for conservation and conservation practices and Irrigation importance and methods)
