Complete step by step solution
Poverty and Un- British in India book is written by Dadabhai Naoroji. He was born in the year $1825$ . He was Co- founder of Indian National Congress. He was educated in Elphinstone institute school. He was a politician. He was a liberal party member of parliament (MP) in the UK house of commons between $1892$ and $1895$ .

Naoroji’s Drain Theory and Poverty:
1. Dadabhai Naoroji worked on the drain of wealth from India into England through colonial rule.
2. One of the reasons that drain theory is imputed to Naoroji is his decision to calculate the net national profit of India, and by extension, the effect that colonization has on the country.

3. British vampires sucked $200 - 300$ million pounds from India.
4. Second class citizens in their own land.
5. Indians gave payment of taxes for internal improvements.

Dadabhai is considered as one of the most important Indians during the independence movement.

Mahatma Gandhi had written to Dadabhai in a letter that “the Indians look up to you as children to the father. Such is really the feeling here”. He established the East Indian Association in $1866$ .
