This helps in the consequent supply of nutrients and oxygen to the skin and thus helps the cells in improving the overall condition. The skin warming process helps in the secretion of sweat. As a result of which the release of dead cells gets accelerated and the harmful toxins are released from the body, thus helping in reducing weight.
2). Infra-red Communication: The infra-red is used for data transmission which can be used for short range communication among various computer peripherals and also some personal digital assistants. There are remote controlled devices using the infra-red waves as a mode of communication. The Light Emitting Diodes are used to emit the infra-red radiation which is focused by a plastic lens into a narrow beam.
Note: The infra-red waves have a longer wavelength than the visible light as it is already mentioned. Therefore, it can pass through denser regions of gas and dust in space, with less amount of scattering and absorption. Thus, infra-red waves can also be used for revealing objects in the universe which otherwise cannot be seen through the naked eyes.
