Hint: We know the relationship between the units of currency, Paise and Rupees. This relationship is Re. 1 = 100 paise. Using this relation, we can find the value of Rs. 2. And thus, we can find the ratio between 60 paise and Rs. 2.

Complete step by step answer:
We know very well that paise and rupees (Rs) are units of currency. The symbol for rupee is Re and the symbol for rupees is Rs.
Also, we all know very well that the relationship between rupee and paise is
Re 1 = 100 paise …(i)
We can multiply both sides of this equation by 2. Thus, we get
Re $1\times 2$ = $100\times 2$paise
which is same as
Rs. 2 = 200 paise …(ii)
Now, in our question, we need to find the ratio of 60 paise to Rs. 2. Thus, the required ratio is,
$Ratio=\dfrac{\text{60 paise}}{\text{Rs}\text{. }2}$
We can now substitute the value of Rs. 2 from equation (ii) to get
$Ratio=\dfrac{\text{60 paise}}{200\text{ paise}}$
We can see that the HCF of 60 and 200 is 20. So, by cancelling both the numerator and denominator by 20, we get
$Ratio=\dfrac{3}{10}$

Hence, we can say that the ratio of 60 paise to Rs. 2 is 3 : 10.

Note: We must be very clear that a ratio a : b can be expressed as $\dfrac{a}{b}$ in fraction, and both of them are used interchangeably. So, we must not confuse between the two. We must also take care that we have to find the ratio of 60 paise to Rs. 2, i.e., 60 paise : Rs. 2, and not vice versa.
