Hint: Break the numbers in a place value table for a better understanding and then write it in the generalised form, which is “A number is said to be in a generalized form if it is expressed as the sum of the product of its digits with their respective place values”.

Complete step by step solution:
Let make a table for the given question first

HundredTensOnesActual number
(i)08989
(ii)207207
(iii)369369

So for question (i) can be written as \[89 = 8 \times 10 + 9\]
Because we can easily see that 8 is in the tens place of the table and 9 is on the ones place of the table so we multiplied 8 with 10 and then added it with 9 multiplied by 1.
Similarly (ii) can be written as \[207 = 2 \times 100 + 0 \times 10 + 7\]
As we can see that 2 is in the hundreds place of the table so we have multiplied 2 with 100 and then added it with 0 because it is in the tens place of the table and 7 is on the ones place of the table so we multiplied 0 with 10 and then added it with 7 multiplied by 1.
And (iii) can be written as \[369 = 3 \times 100 + 6 \times 10 + 9\]
Here also we can observe 3 is in the hundreds place of the table so we have multiplied 3 with 100 and then added it with 6 because it is in the tens place of the table and 9 is on the ones place of the table so we multiplied 0 with 10 and then added it with 9 multiplied by 1.

Note:
Whenever writing a generalised form of a number, regardless that the number is in millions or in crores first of all, always make a place value table so you will never make any mistake while writing the generalised form.
