Complete answer:
a) Mir Bakshi: He was the head of the whole military under the rule of Akbar. The major responsibility of Mir Bakshi was to provide a time-to-time salary to the military force and to make any changes in the previous policies of the army. Mir Bakshi’s rank was divided into two parts under the Mansabdari system that prevailed at Akbar’s time. These two ranks were of zat and sawar. The zat ranks ranged from 10 to 10000. The mansabdar was given the salary in cash. However, it was paid by assigning him a jagir, the taxes from which would be equal to his salary. He used to collect the revenue from his jagir and with that collected taxes, he used to maintain his household expenses and pay his army their salary. Thus, Mir Bakshi had to perform all these duties.
b) Mirza Galib: He was one of the prominent poets during the Mughal Empire. The birth name of Mirza Galib was Mirza Asadullah Baig Khan. But he always used his pen name, Ghalib while writing poems. He had great knowledge of Urdu and Persian language. He was the one who witnessed the fall of the Mughal Empire and the rise of the Colonial British Raj. He wrote “Ode-e-Hindi” which implies ‘Perfume of Hindi' and it was one of his significant works to date. His other works include a number of love poems, ghazals, and many other writings.
c) Chattrapati Shivaji Maharaj: He was born in the year 1630 on 19th February in Ahmadnagar. He was from the Bhonsle Maratha family. As he became king of Raigadh, he was crowned with the title ‘Chattrapati' by the Marathas. Shivaji appointed a group of eight people to instruct him on political and administrative matters. This group of people was known as ‘Ashta Pradhan Mandal'.
Note: Mir Bakshi was one of the nine jewels in Akbar's court. The great poet, Mirza Ghalib was awarded many titles by Mughal emperors which were “Dabir-ul-Mulk” and “Najm-ud-Daula”. Shivaji was the one who laid the first stone to the Maratha empire and that is why he is worshipped by the people of Maharashtra even today.
