Hint: Human Population, throughout the world and in India, has been rising at an alarming rate. This is by far the most serious problem we are facing today. All the media of mass communication-radio, television, the press are trying their best to educate people about population control.

In biology, a population is several organisms of the same group or species who live in a particular geographical area and are capable of interbreeding. About 10,000 years ago the world population reached approximately by 5.3million. Then the humans got a remarkable change such as:-
> They started living in certain communities
> They started domesticating animals
> Began to sow crops and store food, which enhanced their agriculture
> Primitive tools and weapons were made
The rapid rise in population started with the industrial and scientific revolution. Rapidly growing industries made human life more comfortable and with a greater opportunity of jobs and producing more food. All these favoured populations rise. Another factor which also favoured is remarkable discoveries in the field of medical science which made new antibiotics and vaccines for many diseases. This resulted in the shape decrease in death rates of all age groups especially the old and the infants. The rate of growth reached such a point that the population more than doubled in 35 years, which is referred to as Population Explosion. According to the present rate of growth, the population is to reach 50 billion by the end of this century.
And the rise in population would not only cause damage to humans but also the natural habitat, the atmosphere and this planet. The rise in population would also cause an Imbalance between nature and humans, the results of which are devastating. So we should try to control the growth of rate as much as possible to have a balanced life.
The Government and every educated Individual in this country and world should spread awareness among the people to control the population. Which would be beneficial for everyone. Our government also held many campaigns to spread this awareness among the uneducated and the rural people.

Minimum age of marriage: The problem of child marriage is highly prominent in certain countries with a high population such as India, Pakistan, Bangladesh. People should be taught that children should be taught at such a tender age. They should be given proper education to secure their future and lose promote physical activities among them and not put any responsibilities on them. But if an individual gets married at a tender age he lacks many aspects such as education, and physical training and also mental training. Also, individuals who marry at a tender age face a lot of problems such as depression, anxiety, and also many physical problems which are harmful to their mind and body. And the individuals also reproduce and give birth at an early age which makes them produce a lot of children but it is also harmful to the physical health of the mother and brings a lot of burden and responsibility to the parents at a young age.

More employment opportunities: The foremost measure is to raise employment avenues in rural as well as urban areas. Generally, in rural areas, there is disguised unemployment. So efforts should be made to migrate unemployed persons from the rural side to the urban side. To make them independent and keep them lead a life which they can sustain. When their income is increased they would improve their standard of living and adopt small family norms. Another method to check the population is to employ women. Women face a lot of mental and physical abuses on a daily basis and also they don't take proper care of themselves and they do things which they are told to do. Women should be given the incentive to give services in different fields. Women should also be taught to enjoy knowing their capacity to give birth to a child and to take care of it. Women should also take an active part in competitive examinations. As a result, their number in teaching, medical and banking etc. is increasing rapidly.
Methods Of Contraception: Making the people aware about the hormonal pills which reduce the release of an egg, and the use of barrier methods such as Condoms and Diaphragm and the commonly used devices such as IUD(Intrauterine Devices) and also about the surgical methods such as Vasectomy for male and the various advantages related it. Also about the MTP(Medical Termination Of Pregnancy) which allows aborting the baby within 5 months of Pregnancy.
Providing incentives: The Government should also start giving incentives to rural and uneducated people. It should promote them to have less number of children which would be a wise and better choice than to have a huge bunch of children. There are certain incentive policies like paying certain money to people with not more than two kids or free or discounted education for single children and also giving benefits to the green card holders which becomes an advantage for their children in future and has also proved to be a useful measure. By giving such incentives the people would be more aware and will try to take advantage of it and will be controlling their family growth.
