Hint: It is a biological process with the help of new individuals in offspring which are produced from their parents. It is the fundamental feature of all known life each of the individual organisms exists as the result of reproduction. In this process, a female egg and a male sperm provide the information required to produce another human.
Complete answer:
> Asexual reproduction:-
It is a type of reproduction where there is no involvement of the fusion of the gametes or it doesn't change the number of chromosomes. In offspring that arise by the asexual with the help of asexual reproduction from a single-cellular organism and a form of the multi-cellular organism, it inherits the genes of that parent. This type of reproduction involves a single parent.
Three advantages of asexual reproduction:-
- With the help of asexual reproduction, the population can easily increase rapidly.
- In this only one parent is needed.
- This process is faster than sexual reproduction.
> Sexual reproduction:-
This type of reproduction involves a complex life cycle in which there is a gamete with a single set of chromosomes which combines with another to produce an organism composed of cells with the two sets of chromosomes. In this, the new type of organism is created with the help of combining the genetic information is carried on the chromosomes within the nucleus a specialized sex cells gametes.
Three advantages of sexual reproduction:-
- This type of reproduction produces genetic variation only in the offspring.
- The disease is less likely so it is less likely to affect all the individuals in a population.
- It can adapt a species to a new environment due to the variation this gives them a survival advantage.
Note: The asexual reproduction is a disease and it can affect all individuals. It does not give a genetic variation. But in sexual reproduction time and energy are more needed to find a mate.
