ISRO was currently governed by Dr. K. Sivan and its budget is $15\,$ billion USD. The first satellite of the Indian Space Research Organization was Aryabhata which was launched in ${19^{th}}$ April, $1975$ . In $1962$ , the Ministry of Atomic Energy, led by the famous scientist Homi Jahangir Bhabha, convened the National Committee for Space Research (INCOSPAR). ISRO's centers are all over India.
