In the first Anglo- Gurkha war fought between Nepal and East India company, English defeated Amar Singh Thapa.Anglo- Nepalese war took place between the East India company that is present day India and the Kingdom of Gorkha, which is the federal democratic republic of Nepal in present days. This war continued for around 2 years starting from 1 November 1814 and lasted till 4th March 1816.
