Hint: It is a monomer and is small in size which can easily cross human placenta by providing protection of foetus in the uterus.

Complete Answer:
1) Immunoglobulin E or IgE are the class of antibodies which are produced through the immune system. If one is dealing with allergy and his or her immune system overreacts to the allergen in case of producing antibodies these are called Immunoglobulin E. It goes to the cells and releases chemicals which can cause reactions for that allergy.

2) Immunoglobulin G is another class of antibodies. It Represents about 75% of serum in humans. It is called the ideal antibody because of the presence of several characters. It is a common type found in blood circulation. These are created and freed by B cells from plasma. It has two binding sites which bind antigens.

3) Immunoglobulin M is a type of antibody. Representing approximately 75% of serum antibodies in humans, IgG is the most common type of antibody found in blood circulation. IgM molecules are created and released by plasma B cells. Each IgG has two antigen binding sites

4) Immunoglobulin D or IgD is a monomeric antibody which is expressed in the plasma membranes. IgD is also produced and found in small amounts in blood serum. It is secreted and is made up of two heavy chains of the delta class, and two light chains.

Hence Option D: IgG is the correct answer.

Note: At birth the baby's levels of IgG are equal to or slightly higher than those of the mother. This provides passive immunity during the first few months of life.
