Hint:Ammeter: - The meter uses for measuring the current is known as the ammeter. The current is the flow of electrons whose unit is ampere. Hence the instrument which measures the flows of current in ampere is known as ampere meter or ammeter.

Complete step-by-step answer:

If we want to measure the exact value of current passing in a circuit. Then we have to connect the ammeter in series so that the whole current can pass through the device. So we always connect the ammeter in series to the series of a circuit.
To get the actual value of passing current we need an Ideal Ammeter. Because the Ideal ammeter has zero resistance. If a device has zero resistance then there will be no loss of voltage and we will get the exact value.
In nature, no Ideal device exists, hence the Ideal ammeter also does not exist. So we consider a good ammeter is one which has low resistance and this will help us to measure the approximate value of actual electric current.
So the ammeter always reads less than the actual current and also we connect an ammeter in series so that the whole current can pass through the device.
So Statements A and C both are correct.
Option (C) is the right answer.

Note: In general, we use low resistance devices for current measurements and high resistance devices for Voltage measurements.
