Therefore it is both ethical and ensures common welfare of each and every citizen. Above all, democracy makes sure that there is a rule of law. This simply means that the legal framework is unbiased and impartial. Every law is enforced in a fair manner and everyone without any discrimination comes under the ambit of this law. In the absence of rule of law, there would be injustice and domination of the rich and powerful in society.
