Hint: As we know that colloidal sol is the solution in which solid is dispersion phase and liquid is dispersion medium. There are different colloidal solutions like aerosols, alcosol, and hydrosol that differ from each other due to the different dispersion medium and dispersed phase in them.

Complete Solution :
 - As we know that aerosol is a colloidal solution having gas as dispersion medium and solid as a dispersion phase. And also aerosol is a suspension system of solid or liquid particles in a gas. It is found that an aerosol contains both the particles as well as air.
Smoke and fog are examples of aerosol.
 - In emulsion one liquid dispersed phase is dispersed in the other that is in continuous phase. Milk is a type of emulsion.
- And as we know that gel is the colloid in which the dispersed phase is a liquid and dispersed medium is a solid, and hence butter is a type of gel.
So, the correct answer is “Option A and D”.

Additional Information:
-There are some applications found in aerosols like it is used for calibrating instruments, and testing sampling equipment, also it is widely used for medical treatment of respiratory disease .
- Colloids can be classified on the basis of the types of particles in the dispersed phase into following types: multi-molecular colloids, macromolecular colloids, associated colloids.

Note: - We have already discussed various colloidal solutions. One should not get confused in terms between dispersion phase and Dispersion medium.
- It is also important to note that Dispersed phase is one of the two phases in a colloid. A dispersion medium is the continuous phase of a colloid.
