Hint: WBC stands for White blood cells or Leukocytes. White blood cells are classified into two types on the basis of the granules present. If the granules are present then they are known as granulocytes and if the granules are not present then they are known as agranulocytes.

Complete step-by-step answer:
The granulocyte WBCs form about sixty-eight percent of the White Blood Cells. They are majorly classified into three types as given below.
Neutrophils –
Neutrophils are also known as Heterophils. They are a type of granulocytes. They constitute the total White blood cells. Neutrophils have a multilobed nucleus. They are phagocytic in nature and their number increases during the pus infection.
Eosinophils –
Eosinophils are also known as Acidophils. They are a type of granulocytes. They constitute the total White blood cells. Eosinophils have a bilobed nucleus. They work during the allergy and their number increases during the worm infection.
Basophils –
Basophils are also known as the Mast cells. They are a type of granulocytes. They constitute the total White blood cells. Basophils have an S-shaped nucleus. They form the Heparin, Histamine, and Serotonin, and their number increases during Chickenpox infection.
The agranulocyte WBCs form about thirty-two percent of the White Blood Cells. They are majorly classified into two types as given below.
Monocytes –
The monocytes are also known as macrophages. They have a round and large nucleus. They are the main phagocytic cells and their number increases during tuberculosis.
Lymphocytes –
Lymphocytes are also known as Micropoliceman. They have a horseshoe-shaped nucleus. Their number increases during bacterial or viral infections.
Thus, based on the above information we can conclude that Erythrocytes are not a type of WBC.

Hence, the correct answer is option (D).

Note: Erythrocytes are known as the Red Blood Cells. Erythrocytes are biconcave in shape. They contain hemoglobin which is the oxygen carrier in the blood. The hemoglobin is the main pigment that is present in the blood and imparts red color to it.
