Hint: To derive the correct answer, you must first know that sperm is produced in the seminiferous tubules of the testis. The process of vasectomy is mainly involved with the cutting and tying of the vas deferens. This is a hint which will help you to get to the correct answer.

Complete answer:
The process of spermatogenesis occurs in the seminiferous tubule of the testis. The sertoli cells of the testes produce testosterone that help in the further development of the sperms. After this process, these sperm cells reach the epididymis where they mature. The function of the vas deferens is only to transfer the sperm from the vas deferens to the ejaculatory duct. It has no function in sperm formation. When vasectomy occurs, spermatogenesis occurs in the seminiferous tubules but they are not able to reach the ejaculatory duct from the epididymis. The sperm after formation are stored in the epididymis for further storage and development even after vasectomy. But it fails to reach the ejaculatory duct. Thus there is sterility and there is no sperm in the seminal fluid. But sperm remains in the epididymis.

Thus the correct option is D No sperm occurs in epididymis.

Note:
Spermatogenesis best occurs at a temperature lower than that of the body temperature especially one to two degree celsius less. To maintain this temperature, the testis is pulled closer to the body during the winter. During the summer, the testis are moved away from the body to maintain this temperature range.
