Hint:India has a coastline that is 7516km long. The Peninsular plateau has coastal plains on both its sides. In India, the coastal plains are classified into-Western Coastal plain and Eastern Coastal plains.

It is a fertile coast which has deltas of rivers like Mahanadi, Krishna, Kaveri. The eastern coastal plains is further divided into Utkal coast, Andhra coast and Coromandel Coast.
