Hint: A solid is an arrangement of atoms and molecules which are held together , maintain a proper shape and size . solid can melt into liquid which means the structure of solid is not permanent . Based on the structure the solid is divided.

Complete step by step answer:
There are two types of solid
\[\left( 1 \right)\] Amorphous solid
$\left( 2 \right)$ Crystalline solid
Amorphous solid are those which do not have definite geometry. Which means the atoms and molecules are not organized in a proper pattern. Amorphous solid are isotropic in nature means they have uniform properties in all the directions. Properties like electrical conductivity, thermal conductivity , refractive index and coefficient of thermal expansion .
Crystalline solid are those which have proper geometry and the atoms and molecules are properly arranged in a repeating three dimensional structure .means we can say crystalline solid is a long range order.
Now if we check the options which are being provided:
Graphite has three dimensional structure and it is an allotrope of carbon . It's structure is regular and thus it is crystalline solid.
Quartz glass is also amorphous solid but quartz is crystalline structure . it is a glass made up of quartz which are melted and quenched
Chrome alum it is a crystalline solid. chrome alum is a solid that produces beautiful purple colour which naturally exists.
Silicon carbide is a semiconductor. It has a crystalline structure having carbon and silicon in it; it is commonly known as carborundum.
So , the option $\left( B \right)$ is correct .

Note:
There are four other types of solid present ; molecular solid , network solid, metallic solid and ionic solid. The atomic and molecular level study of solid helps us to know many properties like melting point , solubility , electrical properties and density etc.
