Hint: Reproduction is processing for the formation of new generation and it is divided into two types sexual and asexual reproduction, in the sexual fusion of male and female takes place either external or internal and in asexual reproduction new offsprings arises directly from the parent body by budding, fission or fragmentation process.

Complete answer:
In sexual reproduction male and female gametes are formed in the different organs of the body of the organism and they are haploid and both gametes fuse that form diploid cells which form new individuals.
Green algae are the best example of sexual reproduction.
Chlamydomonas is the green algae that are uniflagellated consist of 325 species. It is found in damp soil or stagnant water body either fresh or seawater even also found in the snow. This green algae best example and explain the evolution of sexual reproduction that the evolution of sex in algae.
Chlamydomonas reinhardtii is a typical eukaryotic unicellular organism that shows vegetative and sexual reproduction. It reproduces asexually by a modified mitotic cycle known as multiple fission. The sexes are activated due to the environment by nitrogen starvation, which induces changes in vegetative cells and converts into a mating cell or gametes of two types such as plus and minus which appear similar to their vegetative parent. Such mating cell fuses and forms dormant and environment resistant diploid zygote spores. When the environment is favorable then the zygote spore undergoes meiosis and produces four haploid progeny.
Ulothrix is filamentous non-branching green algae while Puccinia belongs to a genus of fungi and Albugo is a parasitic organism that is not a true fungus but treated as fungi.
Hence, the correct option is A.

Note:Reproduction is a process for producing new young ones that carry hereditary character that is transferred from parent to offspring. Reproduction is of two types such as asexual reproduction in which not gametes formation and fusion take place newborns are identical to its parent, while in case of sexual reproduction gametes are formed and fusion takes place and newborn carry both characters of its parent.
