Complete answer:
A series of old fold mountains in the western part of India is the Aravallis. They stretch from Haryana to Gujarat and cover parts of Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan. This mountain range starts from Delhi and passes through Southern Haryana and Rajasthan and finally ends in Gujarat and thus runs approximately 692 km in a southwest direction. Guru Shikhar and Mount Abu are the mountain peaks of the Aravalli range where Guru Shikhar is the highest peak at 1722 metres. There is a humid subtropical climate in the Northern Aravali range in Delhi and Haryana. There is an arid and dry climate in the central Aravali range in Rajasthan and a tropical wet and dry climate in the southern Aravalli range in Gujarat. Luni River that originates in the Pushkar valley near Ajmer and flows into the Rann of Kutch and the tributaries of Yamuna namely Banas and Sahibi rivers are the three major rivers that flow from the Aravalli. From the Western slopes of the Aravalli range in Rajasthan originates the rivers that flow from north to south.
