Hint: We know from our Earth’s surface in the night a large number of stars are visible. We call everything which twinkles at night in the sky to be a star but not all of them are stars in real life. Sirius is also a star and there are two types of it- Sirius A and Sirius B. Sirius is also called Dog star. Sirius A is highly bright and bigger than Sirius B in the sky.

Complete answer:
It is possible to observe other planets of our solar system with naked eyes but they are not visible at every time of the night. There are certain days when those planets are closer to the earth. Same goes for other heavenly bodies. Also, greater is the temperature of the body, more heat will be radiated from it.

Now, we know there are two types of Sirius so they both will have different temperatures. Sirius A has a temperature of 9940 Kelvins while for Sirius B it is 25200 Kelvins. Thus, we can see that the temperature of Sirius B is greater than the Sirius A.

Note:Despite Sirius B hotter than Sirius A but it is less bright than Sirius A this happens because the distance of Sirius B is greater than Sirius A from the earth. The heat energy radiated by a hot body like metal per second per unit area is proportional to the fourth power of the temperature of that body.
