Hint: We will be using simple divisions to solve the given question, hereby "over" we simply mean division only or say it is the way to write a fractional term in simple language, so taking the fractional part as one entity and another part as other entity, we simply divide the two parts.

Complete step by step solution:
Now, let us take an example, say we take \[a\] over \[b\] how do we interpret it?
This is nothing but the division of \[a\] and \[b\] with \[a\] as numerator and \[b\] as the denominator
So, we can say that \[a\] over \[b\] is nothing but \[\dfrac{a}{b}\].
Not let’s have a look at our question, we need to evaluate 5 over 6,
So just following the same steps that \[a\] over \[b\] can be written as \[\dfrac{a}{b}\].
5 over 6 can be written as \[\dfrac{5}{6}\]
Now let’s call \[\dfrac{5}{6}\] as some variable say \[x\]
So, we can write \[\dfrac{5}{6}=x\], now let's go to the second part of the question which says divide this 5 over 6 with 8, in other words now we need to divide \[x\] with 8.
So, we obtain \[\dfrac{x}{8}.........\left( i \right)\] as our final expression.
Now putting the value of x in our final expression \[\left( i \right)\] we get
\[\dfrac{\dfrac{5}{6}}{8}\] Now we know that denominators can be directly multiplied so this expression becomes
\[\begin{align}
  & \Rightarrow \dfrac{5}{6\times 8}=\dfrac{5}{48} \\
 & \Rightarrow \dfrac{5}{6\times 8}=0.104 \\
\end{align}\]

Note: Note that we have simplified the whole statement after dividing with 8 you can also simplify \[x\] first and then dividing the decimal part by 8, we will obtain the same answer, also note that "over" simply means division or else it means that the number preceding "over" will be in denominator of the part which is before the "over".
