Hint:In order to solve this question let me tell you that the push or pull which is done by any object to the other object will result in motion. So what we call this push or pull is the thing and what we call it and then we will elaborate it and learn it in detail.
Complete answer:
For solving this question let me tell me that the push or pull or in general we will call it a force which is applied to any object by the other object that causes the motion or it can also stop the object which is in motion. So the force is something which causes the motion.
Additional information:
A force is any interaction that, when unopposed, will change the motion of an object. A force can cause an object with mass to change its velocity.
Now we will learn the laws of motion: So the first law is that if the object is in rest then it will be in rest unless any external force is applied on it. Similarly if any object is in motion then it will be in motion until any external force is applied on it.The second law of motion is that the applied external force will be equal to rate of change of momentum. According to expression:
$F = \dfrac{{dP}}{{dt}}$
Now the third law of motion indicates that every force has an equal and opposite reaction.
Note:While solving these types of questions we should keep in mind that if we are talking about the force, then it never means that we are talking about only push or pull. The force can be any force such as frictional force, hydraulic force etc.
