Soon the federation was able to bring about an immense change in their life, by supporting their fishing rights.

Complete answer:
TMS stands for Tawa Matsya Sangh. So A is the right answer. It is a federation of fish workers’ cooperatives. This organization was built for the rights of displaced forest dwellers of the Satpura forest in Madhya Pradesh. In 1994, the government provided the rights to private contractors to fish in the Tawa reservoir. So, Local peoples started getting exploited by the contractors and used them as cheap laborers. These contractors even threatened the villagers to leave. But there were other village men, who stood strong and fought for their rights. Hence, In 1996, they organized an association named Tawa Matsya Sangh (TMS) registered under the Madhya Pradesh Co-operative Act 1960, to fight on their behalf. This Sangh organized rallies and blocked the roads to demand their right to continue their fishing. Sunil Bhai organized 44 tribal villages, which were displaced by the Tawa dam and another 34 by an Army Proof Range Establishment and Ordnance Factory in the area to struggle for their proper rehabilitation. A strong people’s movement was raised against the government, So the government fulfilled the people’s demand for fishing rights. They go fishing and marketing rights over the product for ten years, between the period(1996-2005).

Hence, answer A is the right option.
